We aim to make ordering from Daniel Hokusai as straightforward as possible. This page explains our delivery arrangements for UK and international orders.
1. UK Delivery
We aim to deliver UK orders within 3–5 business days.
UK delivery charges and available delivery options will be displayed at checkout before you complete your purchase.
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive any available tracking information where applicable.
2. International Delivery
We offer worldwide shipping to selected destinations.
We aim to deliver international orders within 6–7 business days.
International delivery charges and available delivery options will be displayed at checkout where available.
Please be aware that international orders may take longer to arrive where customs processing or other circumstances cause delays.
3. Customs, Duties and Taxes
Customers outside the UK may be required to pay customs duties, import taxes, VAT or other charges when their order enters the destination country.
Unless otherwise stated at checkout, these charges are the responsibility of the customer.
Daniel Hokusai does not control these charges and cannot guarantee the amount that may be payable.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that the delivery address and any information required for customs purposes is accurate.
4. Dispatch
We aim to dispatch orders within the timeframe stated on the relevant product page.
Some products may be made or assembled to order. Where this applies, the expected dispatch timeframe will be stated on the product listing.
For products marked as pre-order or with a future shipping date, please refer to the information provided on the product page.
5. Delivery Delays
The 3–5 business day UK and 6–7 business day international delivery timeframes are estimates and are not guaranteed unless a guaranteed delivery service has been specifically agreed.
Delays can occur due to circumstances outside our reasonable control, including postal or courier delays, customs processing, severe weather, strikes, transport disruption or other unforeseen circumstances.
If we become aware of a significant delay affecting your order, we will make reasonable efforts to contact you.
6. Incorrect Delivery Information
Please ensure that the delivery address provided when placing your order is correct.
Daniel Hokusai cannot be held responsible for delays or additional costs resulting from an incorrect or incomplete address supplied by the customer.
If you realise that you have provided an incorrect address, please contact us as soon as possible.
7. Lost or Damaged Orders
If your order arrives damaged, please contact us as soon as possible and provide photographs of the packaging and product where appropriate.
If your order does not arrive within a reasonable timeframe, please contact us so that we can investigate the delivery.
Your statutory consumer rights are not affected by this Shipping & Delivery Policy.
