These Terms & Conditions apply to purchases made through the Daniel Hokusai website.
By placing an order through our website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

Daniel Hokusai is an independent creative business selling products including watches, art prints, clothing, accessories and other handmade or designed products.

We make every reasonable effort to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, dimensions and colours shown on our website are accurate.
However, colours may appear slightly different depending on your device or screen settings.
Some products may be handmade or individually finished. As a result, minor variations in appearance may occur. These variations do not affect the quality or functionality of the product.
Where a product is described as handmade or individually produced, small differences between individual items may be part of the nature of the product.
3. Product Availability
All products are subject to availability.
If we are unable to fulfil an order after you have placed it, we will contact you and provide an appropriate refund where required.
We reserve the right to correct obvious errors in product descriptions, prices or availability.
4. Prices
All prices displayed on the website are shown in pounds sterling (£), unless otherwise stated.
The price applicable to your order will be the price displayed at the time you place your purchase.
Delivery charges will be displayed before you complete your purchase.
For international orders, additional taxes, duties or customs charges may apply depending on the destination country. Unless explicitly stated otherwise, these charges are the responsibility of the customer.

You will receive an order confirmation acknowledging that we have received your order.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order where there is a legitimate reason to do so, including obvious pricing errors, suspected fraudulent activity or circumstances where the requested product is unavailable.
If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, you will receive a full refund of the amount paid.
6. Payment
Payment must be made using the payment methods available at checkout.
Orders will normally only be dispatched once payment has been successfully received.
7. Delivery
We will provide an estimated delivery timeframe where possible.
Delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed unless a specific guaranteed delivery service has been agreed.
Once an order has been dispatched, delivery may be affected by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including postal delays, customs processing, severe weather or other delivery disruptions.
For international orders, the customer is responsible for providing an accurate delivery address and for any applicable import duties, taxes or customs charges unless we expressly state otherwise.
8. International Orders
Customers outside the UK are responsible for ensuring that the products they order can legally be imported into their country.
International orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes or other charges imposed by the destination country.
These charges are not controlled by Daniel Hokusai and, unless otherwise stated at checkout, are the responsibility of the customer.
International customers may also have additional consumer rights under the laws of their country. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to remove or restrict rights that cannot legally be excluded.
9. Returns and Cancellation
For eligible online purchases, UK consumers generally have the right to cancel their order within 14 days of receiving the goods, without needing to provide a reason.
After notifying us that you wish to cancel, you generally have a further 14 days to return the goods.

If you are returning an item because you have changed your mind, you are responsible for the cost of returning the item to us, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
This does not affect your rights where goods are faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or not as described.
10. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Products
We are responsible for ensuring that products supplied to customers are of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described, as required by applicable consumer law.
If you receive a product that is faulty, damaged or incorrect, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible.
We may ask you to provide photographs or other information to help us assess the issue.
Where a product is confirmed to be faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied, we will provide the appropriate remedy required by law.
11. Refunds
Where a refund is due, we will normally issue it using the original payment method.
For cancellations made under the statutory 14-day cancellation right, refunds will be handled in accordance with applicable consumer law and our Returns & Refunds Policy.
Where applicable, we may wait until the returned goods have been received or you have provided evidence that they have been sent back before issuing the refund.

You agree not to use this website for unlawful purposes or in a way that could damage, disable, overburden or impair the website or interfere with other users’ access to it.

The version applicable to your order will be the version in force when you place your order.

If you are a consumer living outside England and Wales, you may also have mandatory consumer rights under the laws of your country of residence. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to deprive you of those rights.
